The founder and Editor-in-Chief of IN Noosa Magazine, Deb Caruso has strong ties to the local culinary scene and the producers who supply direct to restaurants throughout the region.

An active member of Slow Food Noosa as the current Vice President and PR & Comms provider since 2012, Deb led the group to Terra Madre Salone del Gusto in Italy in 2018 – the world’s largest slow food event – supporting local producers and chefs in their efforts to think local, act global.

Deb also has more than 20 years’ experience in the strategic communications and brand reputation space across private, public and not-for-profit sectors and remains fiercely client focused on all projects she throws herself in to.


A Noosa native, Matt Golinski is a highly regarded, internationally awarded and much-loved professional chef known for his passion to create cuisine with fresh, seasonal – and above all – local, ingredients.

The Food and Culinary Tourism Ambassador for the Gympie Gold initiative, Matt is an advocate for the diverse range of produce grown on Noosa’s doorstep and supplied direct to Noosa chefs and home cooks alike.

Matt has been contributing recipes, profiling local producers and shining a light on seasonal produce for IN Noosa Magazine since its launch; has a much-followed blog and has hosted several food-related events.

Currently the Consultant Executive Chef at View Restaurant by Matt Golinski, Matt too is an active member of the Slow Food Noosa movement as a past-President and current Snail of Approval ambassador. Matt also started the Slow Food School Kitchen Program in 2007. He is a highly sought-after guest chef and motivational speaker at events throughout Australia.
